BYC Café

Morning all!

IM, thank you so much for the coffee. DH & I are scraping the bottom of the coffee can here...the store was out when I went shopping yesterday :(

Oh no! I can relate, one store didn't have ours and I forgot to go to another to get it. So I was out at 0430 running to a store for coffee. So po'd at myself! :gig Glad you found some though :highfive: crisis averted :)

@KDOGG331 you understand that Claritan is Loratadine commonly used for depression
but what the heck it works for allergies too right gotta love modern medicine

I take an antidepressant to control chronic hives. It doesn't do much to improve my attitude though :gig

Yeah, I hate how there's so much litter and graffiti everywhere here! People shouldn't do it, of course, but they do and I don't get why they don't have someone to clean it up!

But wow that's awesome. Canadians are so nice lol

Paying someone costs money. You don't really think politicians are going to pass up voting themselves a pay raise because the people are sick of their filthy cities, do you?
:duc

Good morning everyone :frow

It's Wednesday, I'm off work and of COURSE I can't sleep

There's coffee and hot water to go around, there's also crumpets with butter and jam.

I've already watered the sod in the backyard, everyone is sleeping so I'm headed back outside to do whatever I can in the nice, cool darkness. Supposed to be 111* today :sick

Have a wonderful day everyone :)

Boy IM, I don't envy you that temp. Ours will be plenty hot enough (for around here) at about 90*...which translates to about 105* in the kitchen I'll be working in today :hit

Hope everyone can stay cool today!

P.S. Crumpets? Sign me up for one of those :D

They had people before though right? Or no?

Yes!!!!!

Wouldn't you have learned North American history in school? It's important to understand and recognize that it's colonized land. Canada was simply a British colony longer then the US. But they share a similar history including positive and negative relationships with indigenous peoples.

Look it up! :)

Ugh, working in the kitchen. I don't envy you either! 90 is hot when that's your hot part of the year, just depends on where you're planted :)

I love crumpets! They look like half cooked fluffy pancakes in the package but after being in the toaster they're heaven! I'm going to try making them myself when the temps cool in fall.

I've never tried making them before either. If you find a recipe that works out well for you, hope you'll share it!
