Howdy everyone

Ok, here's the scoop! It's broken and unstable. The ball broke cleanly in 2 pieces and is impacted, we'll, the force in hitting the ground, impacted it onto the neck of the bone. If the ball would have or if it does fall off the neck, a hip replacement would have to be performed.
What the doc wants to do is go in and put 3 screws in it to hold the ball in position until it heals. Phew! better than a hip replacement. (3) 1/4" incisions better than a 9" one.
So scheduled for the surgery Tuesday. Going in early Tuesday morning, have the surgery some time shortly after being admitted, and a 1 night over stay, if everything goes well. Going to go and do all the standard blood work, tomorrow! Yahoo!

when you get old enough, pushing yourself hard - means turning yourself over and going back to sleep. But you won't be old for a very long time Sean.

Not really, when I was 2yrs old, chewed on a rag soaked in melathyon, Various bee and wasp stings nearly killed me too! Struck twice by lighting and my "catfish experince" , several near fatal accidents but yeah, how do you "take better care of yourself" i do tend to drive fast and take chances, tho!!!

first time logging in today had caregiver here till 10:30 then headed to auction get rid of a pair of bantys I got by accident picked up a new phone phone for BF

Near death experiences! Oh Boy. I have had some of those.

The scariest was when there was a cabin depressurization on a flight from LA to Sacramento. We landed at a special runway in Oakland that has fire barriers...Scary but not hurt. Thrown from a car and a couple of anaphylactic shock events.

Mostly about eating right and exercise stuff. The other things, "No One expects the Spanish Inquisition"
