G'morning cafe :frowThanks for the coffee Debby!

I was in bed until almost 6 this morning  it's a rare thing. The chickens were laying kittens over it, you shoulda heard 'em out there :gig

Took the dogs to the park but I brought the oldest home early, she's been under the weather and is just starting to feel better.

Ron, I bookmarked your cake recipe thanks, looks fantastic! :drool

Cap I'm super happy your pullet made it home :celebrate

Enjoy the day everyone :)

We have 2 right now. The oldest is a 12 year old Silkie we rescued before she ended up in a shelter. We've had her since she was about a year old. Of course there's also Frankie and he's 6 months. I'm hoping next spring we can find a female bull terrier mix puppy. Frank needs a bigger dog around, he's too rough on my little one.

Nice you provided a home for the little one, I'm sure she's been around a lot longer with your home than she would have otherwise. I haven't looked for a dog here in WY but in FL, pit mixes were plentiful...hope you can find Frankie a playmate more his size.

DH & I like both cats and dogs. We've ended up with cats because we just don't have the time raising a dog needs. Some day though!

Yes'm I can understand that. We like cats too and there was a time when that's all we had for pets. You can leave town for an emergency and not have to worry about them for a few days without much fuss. Not so with most dogs.

Exactly! Some days I think my cats (except Opie) would enjoy a few days without my cramping their style :lau
