I am really liking the feeders i am building! Much better than hanging feeders, gives the quail more space to run around. Got this one installed today.

Looks like that would do a good job Cap, I like the space saving idea behind it!

I built them to hold 2 days worth of feed. So hubby has less work during my surgery, and i have less work in the long run. But the space saving is a good bonus.

Pouring rain again - hope it gets it out of it's system before the temps plunge.Better bring the snow shovel up just in case. Still have the salt melter by the door was too lazy to carry the bag to the garage in spring/summer . Don't remember when it finally warmed up this year.

P.S. DH is the one being the big crybaby over the weather. He keeps saying, "but it's too early, I'm not ready". He's heard the same stories I've heard about snow in July. Silly man, weather doesn't care when you're ready.

I had a pet squirrel for about 8 years. I used to take it to classes with me in University. She had a leash and collar, and was scared of trees!

Hot hot hot here. Unseasonably. 81 today, though one site said 79, and humid. Yesterday was hot too, 77. Monday was cooler. And Sunday was hot too. And HUMID all week. This is NOT October weather. Maybe after the rain tomorrow it will cool down. I am having trouble sleeping because it is too humid to open the windows, when I do I just wake up really hot.
