any signs of Mareks?

My friend lost a serama, couple days later lost a silkie, then lost the second serama - both breeds have poor resistance to Mareks. Only the silkie went outside - otherwise all 3 were house chickens.

All showed the same problem, suddenly couldn't stand - but would eat plenty if hand fed!

knock on wood have not had mareks they where hatched here by my silky from a byc members eggs... know how fortunate I have been but practice for no contamination

It's a terrible shock to open up in the morning, say good morning to each as they leave the coop and notice you're one missing. I've had this a few times now and you just know what you're going to find when you open the coop.:(
I think I know what killed them here but I'm not certain.
Have a hug from me.

Years ago I read about a study that concluded groups of people that have frequent contact will begin to present same behavior patterns.

Maybe we're all merging into one huge blob of BYC humanity that reacts and acts as one!

Ok, so if that's not enough to keep you awake tonight, let me know and I'll come up with something scarier.

Like all the females that sync. It's true.

we usually bury here the arthritis in hands does not like plucking I like skin so
we are not so broke so can buy our food and my BF or adult son like butchering we have a auction close so just take some there
I only eat those I kill, which isn't many, maybe two or three a year.
