Hi, M & M, I left the bassets to their own devices today. Yesterday went fine for them. Today the Princess and I went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast and then to a movie this afternoon. It was a 'day off' for me.

I miss my old basset called him Mac attack he came to me as he has been a sweepstakes puppy that would not perform I co owned him with his breeder so she could afford for me to show him found out they had wedged his head between boards to do his nails poor guy..... he learned he got to lay on grass and carpets doing his nails with a dremel he did not mind laying in grass took on a black shepard who was "crazy" no epileptic knew of the kennel he came from they had it in theirs telling folks if it doesn't work take them to the pound or put them to sleep ... Mac would howl when the gsd went into seizure gave Rommel 4 years before a seizure's became so frequent and long he was in pain giving iv on meds let him go to sleep to run the fields pain free

It's 4:28pm and already getting dark here. The chickens are nestled down in their coop.

It is 4:23 here and is getting dark too... but some of that is from the smoke!

The hens are on their roosts too

I really am doing just the minimum to be sure they are fed and watered. I even laid down and slept before supper.

Oh yeah, i love recognition. But #2 has to try harder. I think i will do a chicken next year.
