No more coffee for you lot given you can't get a decent nights sleep!
Tea on the stove and the last of the walnuts salvaged from the trees.
I fell off the ******** bike yesterday going to the village. The track is just one long mud bath. No damage done but talk about soaked and filthy!

Glad you didn't get hurt, maybe all that mud softened the fall Is your bike ok?

More or less. Oil feed pipe got broken (now fixed) and the usual bent footrests.

I do like them. My birds are mutts with the NN gene to varying degrees, I have 2 black girls and my roo. I've been told the plucking is much easier because they have fewer feathers and in our heat they seem to do better than the rest of my flock so I'm phasing the others out. I hate to see animals suffer and I lost my 2 blue Australorps over the summer. Way too much fluff and it was a really hot summer.

As for their appearance, I love it. They're not your every day chicken
