BYC Café

Good morning chat folk! I woke up to 30° outside and 63° inside. Started a fire in seconds flat. Hubby went to town to buy groceries and fill my Rxs. I got the pots all washed.

Lol. Kinda like a dog staring into a butcher shop window.

I work in the complaint department at an insurance company. I love it :lau

Honestly, I could do worse and I'm thankful, it helps pay the bills.
Possibly a controversial view but in a progressive democracy employment should be a right and one should never feel grateful for it. It’s not as if you have much choice unless you turn to crime.

Working with complaining customers of any industry or business has to be stressful. People can be such :barnie sometimes. You must have a lot of patience.

Given what I know about insurance companies she probably has something to chew on while she answers the calls.
Can you imagine having to tell people whose house may have just burnt down that the company wont pay.:mad:

I worked for a health insurance company for 33 years. Even though I primarily worked in Marketing, people liked to fuss at me about their claims (which I had zero to do with).

I don't work in claims so at least Idon't have to do that :yesss: I have had customers try to commit fraud though. I sound like I'm 12 on the phone so people think they can push me around.
