Idk, just seems everything I've read on the two breeds has mentioned that. That the Goldens are softer, more sensitive, gentle, don't do as well with corrections or with chaos/loud/rough and tumble environments, people, pr dogs. Could be wrong of course and a lot does depend on breeder as well as the type of dog (field or show bred) but that just seems to be a common theme among what I’ve read and that because of all that they are more easily trainable, don’t need many corrections, but I am sure it varies a lot. Show and field/working lines of some breeds may as well be different breeds.

Difference between show or pet most show breeders we do all the testing build a better dog backyard breeder oh lets let the kids see puppy birth :barnie:smack

Sean take it easy please!:hugs

Sorry I couldn't find any get well cards for getting cut on broken glass. That's a niche that Hallmark might consider. I'm NOT making fun of you. I seem to have uncovered cards for almost everything else.

Also couldn't find cards for "cat scratch fever," I figure must be lots of folks with that.

sorry Pertnear NOT funny - Pugs can be very nice dogs just like any other breed. So what if they snore and are gassy -

and urinate and defecate in the house, and have daily dominance fights, and bark at imaginary demons in the sky, and have dysplastic hips that have required thousands of dollars of surgery, and the list goes on -------------------------------

The one, Rocky, at least has a pleasant personality. Otis if he could would be an attack dog - the 'skill' of breeders has made that impossible. He has trouble biting his food.
