I have not lived in NY since i was 17, spent 20 years in NS. And lived about 7 years in TN, also quite a while in FL. But now in VA. We love living in the woods!

That reminds me of where my mom grew up in Erie PA. They call it dreary erie LOL her family is still out there. I guess Albany isn’t really close to there but still.

Yes! Erie, PA is not far.......very dreary in the winter months, but beautiful rolling hills in the spring, summer and full of gorgeous foliage in the fall.

Yes, it is certainly gorgeous there the rest of the year!! The lake and all the grape vines out there. Love the smell of the grapes.
