Sadly no. He has yet to fully accept this strange new chicken into his flock and actually mate with her. And now the poor dear is frozen to the ground!! How could I let this happen?

Morning nothing good here woke up Richard told me Freckle left us in the night View attachment 1638453View attachment 1638454one of our indoor cats.. No not doing a necropsy the 5 of them are all the same age about 5 he was very small size of a kitten so my day is kinda bummed

I guess the salmon can go for the chickens.
There's some pizza on the counter. You may want to pick the olives out.
Everything frozen this morning. Minus 3 or 4 Centigrade last night.
The sun is out now and the skies are clear. It's going to be a lovely day.

I'm in the process of replacing the roof on one of the coops. Just waiting for Bracket to finish laying her egg in there atm.
I've lagged the pipe to the outside tap most prone to freezing.
Repaired a hole in the stock net around the sheep field enclosure. Don't know how the hole was made. Possibly a wild boar stuck it's head through the gap.
Usual feeding and watering rounds.
Sitting at my bench making another lamp with occasional looks to the computer screen while Tribe 1 kind of hover around hoping for some food.
I get most done early in the morning at dawn. I'm normally up at 6 am.
Oh, and I've found Hinge's nest and confiscated her eggs so she's not pleased. It's too cold for hatching chicks outside in my opinion, obviously she thinks differently.
She'll make another nest I expect. It takes some of the pullets a few goes before they decide the nest boxes provided are a better option than under a bush somewhere.

You've been busy! But there is the whole time difference thing to consider. So far I've managed 2 cups of coffee and checked the news online.
