Back in the day I was known to consume a half gallon myself and none could believe I still had control of my faculties. no I wasn't an alcoholic either...just have a high tolerance to it...just like pain.

same is true of pain killers to or anaesthesia, my bodies metabolism just absorbs it like it was water.

I don't have much tolerance to either. I don't drink in the normal course of events and I try desperately hard to avoid pain.
I do like a single malt whiskey though; it's my Christmas treat if I can afford a bottle.
