BYC Café

Who wonders things like that? I wonder sometimes where all the weird people come from but I don't ask (outloud).
Saw a quote over in quotes and thoughts of the day saying that. Just because something pops into your head doesn't mean it should come out of your mouth.
Or something like that.

So true...that's got me in more trouble than my temper! :gig

I started off trying to figure out different scenarios for why they were asking. I mean were the birds sick and so they weren't eating? Or was this person out of feed? Were some of the birds bullying others? There are different answers for different situations.

All that kind of flew out the window when the reply came back their flock had food but they were just wondering.

Well, they probably could go 3 days without food...I'm not saying it's a good thing to do...they definitely won't make it 3 days without water!

Good morning Cafe.
Coffee is on the stove.
A bit gray here but above freezing and warming up.
That thread; I was good. I just gave a straight answer and didn't ask why they wondered what would happen if they didn't feed their chickens. Sometimes it's just better not to know.

Good morning cafe.

Shad, thanks much for the coffee, really need it today. It's 0330 here and I've been up a few hours.

We took Abby to be spayed yesterday even though I've felt her birth date was off by up to a month and she wasn't ready yet. I'm thrilled the vet agreed with me! We both think she was born in September instead of August based on her size and she still has her puppy canines. We postponed it until March 1st.

We're supposed to get rain tonight and into tomorrow morning so I'll be working in the yard today. We also have some quail to process, hopefully we'll get that done too.

Have a great day everyone.
