Major news on our homefront today...our daughter is moving across town. Her boyfriend is a single dad, his parents have recently quit helping him with his son and she knows we're getting tired of being tied down half the time as well. She's going to break her lease and move out there because he owns a house.

In theory we'll be normal grandparents by the end of the school year. :fl:yesss::fl

You don't care for them? If I were closer I'd take them!
I like them, but they will hit 2 in August and i need to make more room for all of these Tolbunts! Also selling the Buff Laced Polish. 20190204_165025.jpg

Sounds like a good change for everyone!

I was going to drop you PM about it later.
Thanks you for your kind words on the other thread.:hugs
I posted because the thread I would normally post such topics on 'Is it better to let them die@ is pretty old now. I also wanted to show how I bury the dead chickens here. It's no a topic that often gets mentioned let alone photographed.:)

I started a thread about the dead a while back. I was going to say it went cold, but don't want to sound puny.

Thanks for the coffee, Sour. I'll take a small thermos for the drive home.

My other half, Dave, was participating in a clinical trial for an AD drug. Hence my frequent road trips. The trial site is a 1.5 hour drive away. We received notice from the clinic that the company is aborting the trial. The drug wasn't working.
I didn't really think it was helping as Dave continues to very slowly decline. But I was still disappointed about the termination.
HOWEVER, I read about an even more promising drug called COR388. The company that developed it, Cortexyme, if going into it's Phase 2 trial and will start recruiting April 1.
But they haven't announced trial locations. So I mentioned my desire for Dave to enter this new CT to Dave's neurologist, Dr. C, and Dr. C said he's already been contacted by Cortexyme to be a trial site!!!!!
Dave is a qualified candidate so will be called in just as soon as possible to enroll in that trial! I could not possibly be more excited for him! :wee
This is a such a huge deal for us.
