Well check the internet. Time for alternative medicine.
I've already done some alt med doctoring. The 1st week after surgery, he wanted to look at the surgical wounds. He couldn't believe I healed that quickly...I didn't tell him I had used sage on the wounds.

Wow, I didn't realise medication was so expensive in the US.
I get my tablets from the local chemist and they're really cheap.:p:lol:
Yep, they(the hospital doc) wanted to put me on Eloquis after surgery. The pharmacy wanted $454 for 20/50mg tablets...I told them I don't think so...I took 2/250mg aspirin a day instead.
PS I know you were just joking Shad but you weren't far off on that comment.

Look, there is hope!

Well got back from the Dr. Got bad news and I have bad news.
Wants to do another x-ray, thinks the lag screw might be 'windshield wippering', due to the bone not covering over the (bursa)head of the screw. If it is, then he'll have to do a hip replacement. :th
I told him, " that's not an option" and basically said, "that ain't gonna happen!":rant

Other than that, he was impressed with my hip flexibility...which I haven't been, I'm about as flexible as an iron rod....which makes sense because there is a titanium rod in there...idk. :hmm
The scar tissue is still an issue and the cartilage, ligaments and muscle tissues are still reeling from the trauma.
I can walk without the sticks but it really sends shockwaves of pain throughout my leg. And if I only walk a few steps, it takes a week to recover from the damage I self inflicted on my leg. :barnieHopefully in 2 or 3 more weeks, I'll be able to walk unassisted! :fl
The only thing I know for certain is, it's the worse, most complicated break he has seen. :gig

Hey Sean, good luck, I hope you get it figured out and quit hurting :hugsHave you considered that hip hip replacement might actually make you feel better?

Not bullet holes, silly. But seriously, you should consider it.

Nephew had constant severe pain after a major automotive crash. Specialist after specialist found nothing wrong - even sent him to a shrink. Eventually he ended up at an acupuncturist who first alleviated and then eliminated the pain. That's my only experience with acupuncture. :idunno

My brother has many long term health problems - he has been going to a acupuncturist for several years and says it helps him. To be honest I'm not sure what he is having stabbed with needles.
The big draw for him is, he has seen a ghost coming from the office bathroom a few times. The doctor said, other people have seen him too. He is wild about the Ghost Hunters and et al shows of that nature.
