She has sheep i believe. So you are in the same boat. There was a time i was fit enough to tackle that, but i am falling apart.

I've done it with hand shears in the past; not any more though.
There are only six sheep here now but even so we'll get a local shepherd to come up with electric clippers and pay him to do the job. It doesn't cost much.

At least you were able to try the quail, no big deal if they aren't right for you. There's plenty of chicken breeds to try out!

I did it! I survived the farm store without buying chicks. Got tons of chick supplies though.
