BYC Café

Morning! Momma moose and teenager are hanging out nearby today. It is a good day to pay attention out there!
Thanks for the coffee, too. We are doing some pen cleaning and that is always so much fun. I think that I will plant some more greens in the greenhouse and tomorrow, I go pick up the freezer camp graduates...

Hi all :frow

Just came in from checking on the quail chicks. They started escaping their run yesterday so I let them all out today and took down the barrier. I hope the bigs leave them alone, so far they've been curious but not mean.

Anyway, sorry to ramble. I made fresh coffee, help yourselves :)

I had a fulfilling day's work.
We're only halfway done but what a difference a little okay a LOT of primer makes.

I'm going to veg here with the last of the coffee I found in the pot. I brewed another in case anyone else is interested.

Your coop is looking good Dobie :thumbsup I know some people don't paint the insides of their coops but I like it, just brightens up everything.

Thank you, Debby.

It will end up taking about 6 full days to get everything inside and out cleaned, primed and painted but I think it is worth it. It is undoubtedly much brighter in there.

The downside is I'll have to take an extra 15 minutes or so in the shower to scrub all the paint out of my hair and off my hands.
