I think you are right. People who claim to know about cassowaries say that, though they are well armed, they aren't a threat unless they feel threatened. A sudden movement or sound; who knows what he may have done to startle the bird?

Saw this in the store. Haven't tried it yet, but I love the name!

IM, I like you well enough to share my Rocky Road ice cream with. Have 5 more "almost" pints. Sadly only one grocery store still carries that flavor & brand. I am trying to ready myself for the time when it will be gone forever. Isn't that a part of getting older ?

I know what you mean by waiting for it to disappear. There was a chocolate yogurt many years ago, right around the beginning of the nonfat craze. I would buy a bunch and put them in the freezer. It was like having ice cream in the summer but not as much fat/calories. It's been gone for years

Morning! Bleacher aches are gone, replaced with fencing aches...
I helped a friend out yesterday and brought a pizza home to the boys for my troubles. It wasn't that bad of a day. I think some corral cleaning is in order for today because we need to clear a spot for the shelter and I think there is more snow coming in on Wed.

Storm last night blew over the canopied glider I just put together - missed the Princess's car by inches. That sucker is heavy - winds must have been impressive.

Friendly's makes good ice cream. Cherry vanilla for home use, and vanilla/hot fudge happy endings for restaurant choice are my favorites.

Every time I am hunting for ice cream in the grocery store, there are many like me doing the same. Men and women alike searching for "their" brand and flavor. My brother says
" you're always looking for ice cream." I make sure to point out how men are just as eager for it as women. He thinks we are all nuts.

BTW Sour our grocery store had a deal you could get 1.5 quart (1 only) for 47cents, none of us could find our special flavor, so I got cherry vanilla . I kid you not.
