I think this is what is happening to the chicken as well. There was a study on aggression that found the breeding for 'better' temperament had altered the shape of a chickens brain. The study also found that the chickens in question had become less inquisitive.I agree! A lot of the little breeds are mean and downright nasty. But that said I do think the well bred and well trained ones can be nice dogs. Unfortunately most little dogs aren’t either of those things and get a bad rep. But even popular family breeds like Golden’s and Labs that are supposed to be the friendliest things in the world are starting to have aggression issues from poor breeding and backyard breeders, puppy mills, etc. that don’t care about personality, and are ruining the breeds.so I think it all depends. But that said, even poorly bred and trained dogs of some breeds are still friendly and sweet. I think certain ones have more of a tendency to be nasty.
