BYC Café

Hello, Cafe.
Not good morning.
The company that I work for has been acquired by TTM, the largest N. America PCB manufacturer. Asset transfer to begin next month with "shadowing" of key processes by TTM personnel for intellectual property transfer. Physical inventory transfer to occur beginning 4th Qtr.
Some current employees will either be made an offer to move to Chippewa Falls WI to the main fabrication plant or other TTM owns facilities. Some will also be offered positions at the current companies Endicott site and/or the Binghamton site.
Ra ra. Like it's even an option for me to drop everything and just move.
I'm going for my first mammogram today. Maybe I'll get even more great news from that.
Sorry, that stinks. These companies think nothing of messing up people's lives .:hugs

G'morning cafe:frow

Thanks Shad. If you don't want that rain you can send it my way. We could certainly use it.

Have a good day all.
We are supposed to get 4 or 5 days of rain in a row next week! I will try to send you some. Last time it rained the river rose 20 feet or more!

Please do Cap! It's hot, dry and the air quality is terrible here right now.

How the littlest beast doing? Is she taking over the whole house?

Oh wow that is terrible!! The horns definitely don’t sound worth it haha although was Spike a buck? Bucks are more nasty anyway, right?
I rarely had issues with my goats with horns. Getting stuck in the fence seemed to be the worst issue, except if you had goats with horns and goats without. Mostly it was one particular goat that wouldn't learn to quit sticking their heads through the fence. The dehorned ones ended up bloody because goats say hello by butting heads. And determine dominance that way.

She takes stuff right out of the big dog's paws! Chases the cats. Her house training is doing better. But I am still losing sleep of course. Love her SO much!

I have now. That is a beautiful young boy. The youngest I've had is 12 months old though. No puppies here.

I think fried chicken is more a southern way of cooking. I marinate and grill or roast my chicken.

:hugs Thank you Bunny. I hope so too. I'm game for moving into a different sector of the business. We have some other interesting work going on. They are desperate for engineers at the Binghamton site.
My Grandparents, uncle and aunt, as well as cousins lived in Binghampton. Small world.

The mammo was a piece of cake. I don't know what other women are complaining about. I've bashed myself harder than that machine could squash me! :p
I don't know how I'm going to get the results because I have no PCP and currently no health insurance. My life is one hot mess!!
I kind of have to wait and see.
With DH only getting worse with the Alzheimer's, I can't go back to full time work. I'll eventually have to get someone to stay with him when I'm working. I don't know when that will be. Hopefully not for a long time but no one knows how the disease is going to progress.
I'd also like to finish my house and get my mother's house finished and sold. I can't do these things if I'm working full time.
Mammograms used to be very painful for me before my breast reduction. I suspect women with very small breasts have pain as well. Now I have no problems with them. More annoying than anything .

Ok, laugh if you must...when I read "shin" this morning, I actually looked at the front of my leg and thought Shad can't mean that, there's no meat there :lau

Things might get a bit scary with the job situation Tonya, but remember, things always work out the way they're supposed to. Ditto on what IM said, you're a smart, talented woman...you're going to end up fine. (And if not, just send out an SOS to the Cafe and we'll all come storming to your defense)

Glad the mamo went ok!

That was one of the biggest problems we had...they would insist on sticking their heads in places they did not belong. One girl in particular was bad about that. We finally put short pieces of hose on her horns with a brace to hold them in place. That Headdress of Shame took care of that problem!

Sometimes being a cheap date is a good thing! :hugs
I used short pieces of PVC pipe for the head dress. Worked great, stuck it on with duct tape.
