My DNA test has me being a lot British Isles-- Which goes a long way in explaining why I thought that the worst air day during the fire last Fall was a good time to mow the lawn! I stopped and went into the house after getting dizzy. I had a mask on so should have been fine right!?

My brother wants me to drive out to Phoenix in a couple weeks for his birthday. He hasn't been well this year & I feel sooooooo guilty, but I hate going out there during the summer. Every time I go during the summer I say never, ever again, but have I mentioned how guilty I feel?

IM please remind me how miserably, ridiculously hot you guys have been. Tell me about haboobs & monsoons & broken ac units.... The guilt is killing me.

There used to be a BYC member from Arizona on here with the user name of Mahroni. It was so hot at his place, that he installed an AC unit in the coop!

It's made an attempt at rain here. We could have amjor storm looking at the clouds, but then again it could pass us by.
It's all sat on the next mountain at the moment. Got the lightning going and distant thunder.

Very very bad for you that guilt business Roomy. I find if I do something out of guilt, which is very rare, the resentment I feel about feeling that I should be doing whatever spills over into what I'm doing and spoils it.

I guess I'm lucky. I do have some family I enjoy seeing. I adore my girls and their mother although she's got even stranger in her old age. I still have some good friends which I would like to see more of. My elder sister despite living a completely different life to me has a sense of humour and I'm always prepared to tolerate peoples faults if they can make me laugh.
I won't spoil this by mentioning the others.
