Good morning, Cafe.
We will have one more hot day then it cracks tonight and we get a little cool down.
My neighbor came over to scope out the stone wall and steps work I'm having him do for me. He starts in 3 weeks. I've been wanting this done for 2 years so I'm super excited. It would be so nice to wrap things up around here.
He also invited me over to pick raspberries for the chickens.
My older flock had access to his raspberries and blackberries last year. They preferred the black. But the chicks have never had either. They went nuts over the little red flying fruit. When the hens saw their reaction, they changed their minds about their preference and started diving in.

My dad gives me hell for packing my coffee cup around when it's 85°. Never too hot for coffee, indeed

NEVER too hot for coffee. I think hot on the inside makes the outside feel cooler ?

I'm afraid to inquire on the 'beer in the shower' statement, Mr. Sour. but will anyway!

Did you say stone wall??? An honest to god stone wall??? LOVE those (but never had one). I used to see quite a few of them when living in Kansas but nothing like them around here. Hope you'll share pictures of it going up Dobie
