BYC Café

My son is getting married, to the girl who was never going to get married. Sedona, October 2021.:celebrate

Congratulations to the obviously happy couple!!

The "never going to get married" part reminds me of my parents.

My mother was "never going to get married before 30, never going on a blind date and NEVER marrying a redhead!!"
She married my redheaded father 8 months after meeting him on a blind date when she was 22!!

My day has been good Cap, thanks for asking! It hasn't been inferno hot so got the chicken run straightened out, did a bit of grocery shopping, did some eliminating around the house (not nearly enough, but still...) and read a lot of a book that has me captured. Also got to spend a lot of time here on BYC today.

So back to work tomorrow but have had a good 2 days off which has been nice!

Did you pick up the playhouse?
I did, $25, still in the back of my truck. I am tired.

I met my hubby on a blind date in Sept 1974.

The trip north I was to take last week was delayed to today. What a beautiful drive through the wine country in the Finger Lakes region. We went up between Cayuga and Seneca and back down the west side of Seneca.
This is the marina off the southern tip of Seneca.

And one of my favorite wineries on the west side of Seneca.

That's a good example of the "never say never" thing. :p
