Had a visit from a hummingbird moth today.

I know, I was out looking with the flashlight. I have one rooster that stays out all the time and he manages to survive. Hoping she roosted up high somewhere.
During the periods when I've had chickens roosting in the trees overnight, not one got taken by a predator. If it were just up to me I would let the pro tree huggers here roost in the trees on a permanent basis. Apart from the possibility of predation there would seem to be many benefits for keeper and chicken.
There is a guy in Australia I'm in contact with who has egg/roost boxes set up in a couple of trees; chicken tree houses.:lol:
