BYC Café

Uh, that was Debby that asked but since your asking me...its starting to cool off a tad bit but still in the mid 90's. Suppose to get a 'cold front' coming in tomorrow but I doubt it will be very cool.

Oopsie! Glad you're cooling off Sean. In my defense I wasn't wearing my good eyes, just the crummy ones and I don't see too good!

Hi NFC :)

Not too bad thanks. I have a beautiful new rooster but he's still a little guy. Hatching eggs are on their way and there's a few eggs in my bator already.

How's things out there? I know you're getting chilly, we're warming up a bit but back to the low 90s by the end of the week.

@N F C :oops:

What kind of egg you have 'on the way'?

Turken/Dorking/Red Ranger mixes. There's a guy in the meat bird threads that is breeding these among others.

I'm working on some dual purpose birds. We've managed to seriously put a dent in how much store chicken we buy already.

Hello, Pond - brewed a fresh pot - coffee at the field trial was not so very good.

For a five year old, she is rather uneducated. I will run her tomorrow, but it will take a bit of luck for her to place.

Well, a bit of luck happened, or perhaps she is better than I thought. Lily was the first hound in the first brace. They tallyho'd a rabbit into the thickest spot on the club. So thick that her bracemate gave up and quit. She fought her way through and put on a performance. Back high she got a good rabbit in second series and once again performed to win the class. Well done Lily.
