Most of the non agricultural vegetation here seems to survive very well during the dry spells. Fire is always a problem and a regular dousing with water reduces the risk.
Normally at this time of year the fire prevention restrictions are lifted but this year the Park Wardens are keeping the ban on certain activities until we've had a good soaking.
I'll take some of your snow Debby. It will melt.

The closest has been about ten miles away. Thankfully the major fires this year have been further South.
