BYC Café

Ugh, grocery shopping. A loathsome chore. :tongue
Tried to find our lone missing calf again today. No luck, but saw a ton of elk:View attachment 1939398Hard to tell from the picture but there were 150-200 head, two pairs of bulls fighting in the middle. Pretty fun to watch! Saw another bunch of about 50 and a muley with 3 babies.

Got both coops cleaned that needed it, even though the snow started and was traveling sideways. Had the kids over for pork roast, corn casserole and rolls:drool Twas tasty. Hope you all had a good Saturday!
How long has the calf been missing Meg?

Good morning Cafe.
Coffee is made.
Has some heavy rain overnight. Chickens were all full on bug hunt in the damp conditions.
Not remotely interested in the feed provided.:D
There are still some low dark gray clouds hammering across the sky so more rain looks likely.

Morning Cafe

Sounds like the chickens are enjoying their bug buffet Shad. Thanks for the coffee!

Meg, what a beautiful area you're in! Hope you find that calf.

We got about an 1" of snow here last night. Sure am glad I got errands done yesterday.

Morning! Snowing, kinda, and we have 75-80mph gusts coming in at 9 am "they" say. I guess the season is here. This is the last AM of dog sitting and then off to get DS$ from wrestling camp.
Enjoy the day out there!

Morning Margie, have a great day!

Mornin', y'all!:frow

Blustery and humid after the remnants of TS Nestor rolled through last night. We wound up with about an inch and a half of rain, but no major dramas (that I've heard about, anyway). Forecast high is for 78°, but it's sunny and 79° already, so we'll see about that.:hmm

Not rain here but looks like may happen wet weather gear funny silkie still wanted in their tractor. Been up a few hours
