Good morning Café. Projected freezing rain has not started. Next day or so are expected to be a bit dicey. I think today is computer installation day so if I disappear for a bit ------------------

It's getting pretty thick here. I brought in enough wood to fill the racks, topped up the waterers in the coop and run and gave them some extra food. I don't want to have to slip-n-slide out there unless there is no choice.
I have yet to hear a salt truck go by but we are on a dead end road. I hope we don't lose power. Good luck to you out there.

What a crazy day with TWO Nutcracker shows with just enough time in between to get her fed & head back out there. One more show tomorrow. DD1 is tired & sore but having so much fun.

I'm gonna treat myself to a little celebrating later in the week (maybe next sunday when I have more time.) Thanks again for all the great bday wishes!!!

PS. IM I want to know everything about that pig. Whats his story? How much does he weigh? Are those really his shades on the floor?

I remember weekends like that with my oldest DD. She performed in all of the Christmas shows one year at church. It was a Thursday, Friday, Two on Saturday and one on Sunday. She was the only member of the kids choir to be in all of them.

Thanks, Sean, we're going to stay hunkered down here. Right now grassy areas are okay to walk on and road is clear - they heavily salted - , but sidewalks, deck, vehicles, trees etc. are ice encrusted. If we lose power, we have our trusty generator and 500 gal. of propane.
