Ha, well definitely the two legged :lau Do you have cockroaches there? I couldn't believe how big they were. And they scurried. I don't like things that travel by scurrying...
I haven't seen a cockroach here. We also don't get many slugs. The least pleasant insect here is the Asian Hornet which arrived a couple of years ago.

I also have mixed feelings about traveling. I always look back fondly on the times I did, but I hate the thought of ever leaving my house again when I'm home. I much prefer the company of my animals, anyway.

I would hate to move around. My husband has brought up the prospect of selling our house and finding something different, but that will never happen  Aside from the fact that rebuilding what we've built without Bezos' type money would be near impossible on our collective incomes, that amount of sh*t we've amassed is ridiculous!

If you moved, Shad, would you stay in Spain?
Unfortunately it may not be possible. Atm the UK is in the EU. If the UK gets taken out of the EU by the current retards we have running the UK then I lose the right to live here. For some people with sufficient funds this shouldn't be a problem but in another year I will be at retirement age and eligible for a UK state pension. There are doubts that the UK will honor it's previous agreement to pay pensions to UK subjects living abroad.
Next there is a question of how the Spanish will react to the UK leaving the EU. They may, and it's a perfectly reasonable demand, require UK subjects to adopt Spanish nationality. No one knows what the criteria will be to get Spanish nationality. My house, which is rather unusual in build and circumstance can not be transfered to another owner so I can't sell it.
I put everything I had into the house so it's not like I have the funds to start again. So, it's not a question of wanting to move. It's more a question of whether it will be possible to stay. It's one of the penalties of electing crooks, clowns and public schoolboys to government.

What a mess. Your government seems to be the same caliber as that of the US. Good luck, I hope it all works as you wish.

This is a rotten situation to find yourself in. I hope you can stay as long as you need. Nothing like being at the mercy of idiots.

Good morning, Cafe. Thanks for the coffee, IM.
I'm planning on a grain run up to Penn Yan. The waterfalls may be frozen.
I'm also still waiting to hear back on my application for that Doberman in PA. I also left a phone message first thing yesterday morning. The first day I called on him someone called me back. I wonder if he's already been adopted and no one has bothered to take down his post.

Beautiful morning here, patches of dense fog and 49°, expected to be in the 70's by afternoon.
Had a pair of Reeves pheasants escape 6 months ago. Predators haven't found them, yet!!!! They have absolutely gone wild, I can't get close to them at all...even at night. Usually they are either taken by predators or just move on, in a matter of days or weeks but these have managed to survive and thrive!!!!:love
Sorry for the poor quality, dadgum phone camera.
