I haven't seen a cockroach here. We also don't get many slugs. The least pleasant insect here is the Asian Hornet which arrived a couple of years ago.Ha, well definitely the two leggedDo you have cockroaches there? I couldn't believe how big they were. And they scurried. I don't like things that travel by scurrying...

Unfortunately it may not be possible. Atm the UK is in the EU. If the UK gets taken out of the EU by the current retards we have running the UK then I lose the right to live here. For some people with sufficient funds this shouldn't be a problem but in another year I will be at retirement age and eligible for a UK state pension. There are doubts that the UK will honor it's previous agreement to pay pensions to UK subjects living abroad.I also have mixed feelings about traveling. I always look back fondly on the times I did, but I hate the thought of ever leaving my house again when I'm home. I much prefer the company of my animals, anyway.
I would hate to move around. My husband has brought up the prospect of selling our house and finding something different, but that will never happenAside from the fact that rebuilding what we've built without Bezos' type money would be near impossible on our collective incomes, that amount of sh*t we've amassed is ridiculous!
If you moved, Shad, would you stay in Spain?

Next there is a question of how the Spanish will react to the UK leaving the EU. They may, and it's a perfectly reasonable demand, require UK subjects to adopt Spanish nationality. No one knows what the criteria will be to get Spanish nationality. My house, which is rather unusual in build and circumstance can not be transfered to another owner so I can't sell it.
I put everything I had into the house so it's not like I have the funds to start again. So, it's not a question of wanting to move. It's more a question of whether it will be possible to stay. It's one of the penalties of electing crooks, clowns and public schoolboys to government.
This is a rotten situation to find yourself in. I hope you can stay as long as you need. Nothing like being at the mercy of idiots.Unfortunately it may not be possible. Atm the UK is in the EU.
