No cookies yet, but we have to make them next week as the 21st will be our 'family' Christmas. Today we are going to the Princess's hometown to put grave blankets on her grandmother and parent's graves.

The grave blankets are a nice tradition you two have. A solemn day I would suppose, but thoughtful.

Actually it's sort of a fun day. Grief has passed, and good memories remain. I generally spend some time talking with my MIL while 'Ralph' listens quietly. I do regret that we are unable to do the same for my parent's grave in Fla., but that's life and a result of their choice.
