The couple came today to meet Sarge, Fabio's son. It was a love fest!
They loved him, he loved them. He allowed the husband to pick him up multiple times and he ate gently from his hand.
I'm keeping him another week as they want to make some modifications in their coop to keep him isolated from their birds for a while. They are so excited to adopt him. I'm happy for the little guy!

I'm pleased to read Sarge has avoided getting cooked.

My heart aches for you & Gedit Shad! People really suck sometimes! I pretty far behind.... I hope to read they’re leaving soon & didn’t damage anyone or anything else.

It's a bit of a strange set up Roomy. I knew what I was taking on when I came here.
There are many more plus points than minus.
Unfortunately this lets go and play at being farmers is happening in a lot of places. The land will take care of itself when such people get bored but the animals; not so much.

Thanks for the coffee DL. I will have a cup. I'm a bit behind today. I've got a rat trying to take up permanent residence. I evicted it yesterday but it was here again last night and I'm having to rat proof anywhere I think it can hide.
I've tried traps and I found it's home yesterday and made it impossible for it to return there. It's obviously found somewhere else.
