Oh whoops... I just assumed all dogs had them on both front and back...

Still though, double is a specific thing where they have 2 on one foot.

I think if they do have them on the back they just call them rear dewclaws not double

Only certain breeds have double I think it's only 8-10 breeds so it's very uncommon unless you have that breed.

Usually mutts have them on front and back. Anabelle doesn't though... Maybe pit and lab don't have them in the back.

I know she never had her dew claws removed either because we got her at 5 weeks due to her having a appointment to be euthanized. Sometimes breeders will have them removed at the vets office.

Lucky you...we’re getting pounded with snow...my hubby plows for our rental units...we got easily about 5” yesterday...maybe just one now...getting about 8” tomorrow...it’s 12’ now...the chickens haven’t left the coop....

They are just trying to scare us. I can do without snow, we lived in Nova Scotia a long time( 1974 to 1992). I grew up in New York,( 17 years there) and we got some snow when we lived in TN. ( 7 years there) .

I used to cut off the dew claws on baby pups. Vet taught me how to do it.

They are just trying to scare us. I can do without snow, we lived in Nova Scotia a long time( 1974 to 1992). I grew up in New York,( 17 years there) and we got some snow when we lived in TN. ( 7 years there) .

I grew up in Aroostook county maine until I was 15 then I moved to NH. I moved to VA 7 years ago because my mom convinced us saying there is no snow she's a LIAR!

My husband moved here 5 years ago from NH we were dating when I moved to VA.
