Good morning everybody! Wow it takes a long time to catch up with this group in the morning. Thanks for the coffee Tonya! Did someone say gnats? Think I'll pass on the doughnut then.

@Shadrach, I'm so sorry for the weather woes you are having!!! And 7 lost? That's terrible! I guess I'll quit complaining about our rain here. We feel pretty soggy, and the river is bursting at the seams, but the roads aren't washed out!!! Be safe out there.

These ones are the smaller ones.

Have you seen the ones that look like jugs and they eat the bugs that way?

I had some before, but not enough sun here for them.

My chickens love to snap at mosquitoes in the summer. Whenever I find one about to bite me I slap it then give it to them. Yummy.....

I checked into butter from goats milk and the problem is getting the cream. There is a gadget called a cream separator you can use or you can skim the fat off the top of goats milk but it is quite a process. You can freeze what you skim until you get a quart of cream but then making the butter is the same as for cows cream.
