Looks a good un DL.
It looks better.
I'm anxious to get the floors in, trim in and paint done. The lower rooms need their hot water baseboards in too. Then I'll put in the drop ceilings and they will be done.
But I'm going to be detoured off the mom's new house when we close. I need to get her moved out of the rental as soon as possible after the closing.
Oooo! I forgot to mention... the heat and hot water are back! It was simply glorious not to have to work in a freezing cold house today!
I finally got in touch with the guy that did the install and he came out to fix the issue (lack of water in the lines), fixed a leak and secured and sealed the exhaust.

Here's a whole thread on them. Lots of pictures on various pages.
I only looked at the first page (so far). You are VERY creative! Excellent work.

I was just wearing glasses, that fog up because I'm wearing a N95 mask because of the dust. That drywall dust is a potent desiccant. I've started to flood my eyes with the artificial tears before the pain actually kicks in.
Have you considered NOT sanding but sponging? I can do a lot of things but pretty much suck at taping drywall.

Were you told why you have dry eyes? With me it is apparently because my lower tear ducts drain too fast. I get plugs put in twice a year (thank goodness for insurance!). Drops as needed through the day, gel at night.

I sponge sand. Wet sanding doesn't leave a good finish.
I haven't gotten to the 'why' part of my dry eyes. We were going to go into that on the follow up visit after I did 3 months of drops 4 times a day to see if it made an impact. I know my dad had it.
I use the gel in the morning before I start doing chores. It blurs my vision for about 20 minutes but not so bad I can't see what I'm doing. I like to read before bed so I use the liquid drops then.

I feel a bit inadequate posting the little bit of progress I've made at Dad's house.
Have I ever mentioned how much I hate finishing drywall?

Virgin drywall is one of Satan's handmaidens, IMO. Our first home was a 1951 Cape Cod story and a half with lovely plastic "wood paneling" in the "half", which we wanted to turn into our bedroom. It ran the whole length of the house and we got to drywall the *whole thing*, walls, ceiling, lots of fun angles...ah, memories. And never-ending dust (and priming!). That said, your work looks fabulous!

Perhaps most importantly, for the eyes? Try TheraTears. There's even a special nighttime one you put in before bed that really boosts the moisture overnight. That stuff is a God-send! I seriously cannot recommend it highly enough. Carry it in my (photography) kit and handbag. Alas, I don't own anything of the company but the product itself. ;P

ETA: Ooops, committed the cardinal sin of not reading the thread all the way through! *blushes furiously in shame*

Yes! See above post. I really like that brand.
I've done whole houses of drywall and have more to go in my own house. I just hate doing it. I love the final work: installing the trim, caulking and painting. I'm right around the corner from that.
I've not installed a drop ceiling grid yet so that will be new for me but I'm sure I'll figure it out.
