BYC Café

Just don't seem to have enough daylight hours at the moment. I'm sure I used to get more done per hour a few years ago.
Doing lots of woodwork. Just trying to keep on top of the growth in a relatively small area is a major task. Everything seems to grow overnight.
Had to lock the gates at the top of the sheep field and at the bottom of the track today. The restrictions have been eased and lots of people seem to have decided they can return to exactly the same behavior as before. The problem is they also seem to think they are on holiday now and have headed for the park. Intercepted two families with dogs not on leads just in time this morning.

Veronica plucked my beard for me. Too much? Just right? I'm kinda going for the goatee look...

It would be difficult because of a couple of things. The notice would need to be a long way up the track and lots of people cut through the woods and wouldn't see it.
Also the track is a public right of way and a fire track. The park North of here has a no dogs in the park without leads but because there is a large proportion of farm land here; all with loose dogs it would be hard to implement.
One hopes that people have enough common sense but that's probably a futile hope.

We are working on the wrestling room today. I gave up the idea of using the star-plate system for this. The 10x10 mat would not fit and then watching the boys wrestle on the back porch on the mat made me think that bigger is better! Anyway, the floor is now a rectangle 12x14 so they have a bit of crashing room.
I think the dog wars are going to heat up over here this summer too.
I am thinking the dogs will lose...
