I get the impression that your not overly fussed (?)
You would be correct! I want to get mom in her new house by August 1st if at all possible. I won't be done with it as I will still have to side it but all the interior I want done by then. I'll go back and side it after I get my roof on my house.
We had our meeting today and that is when I realized they meant to start this week. I had to leave right after the meeting because I'd already hit my limit for the week. So I went shopping for supplies for moms house!

About 2 weeks ago, I went to the granite yard I used for the last 3 flips. I roamed around the yard and found the slab I wanted, took a sample and had my cabinet paint mixed up to match the tones in the granite then took the sample to select a good back splash tile for it.
With all the long delays in building supplies I decided to call the granite yard to find out what the lead time was on fabrication and installation. The guy said they were permanently closing the site and would not be doing any more fabrications!!! :thKey-rap!!!

I found another granite "yard" that had good google reviews so I paid them a visit today. They have a teeny tiny selection but I found an adequate substitute that still looks great with the paint I already had mixed and the back splash I already picked out and it was about 25% less expensive. :woot

That is nice! A new place at a better cost is a score for sure

No big deal. While mowing/attacking the relatively newly cleared front hedgerow I lacerated my arm on some briars - old man skin tears readily. Bled like a bandit, but is already healing. Once again - no big deal.
I just hadn't read about that and didn't know what happened to you. Glad to know it's already healing.

I sold a horse today, well agreed to sell it anyway. The big paint one that DS$ helped to get going under saddle. That money will go into the wrestling/college fund.
I hear Meg may get some more cold temps and some snow up thataway, at least in the mountains. Rain for us with a high of 54 F but lows in the 40's F. I am glad it won't freeze,
again. I think we are helping with hay, not sure with the weather acting up.
Sour, I am glad that you are fine. With the summer tan on the arms, those scratches from olive trees or brambles make them look like tiger stripes!
Kitty need more coffee?
