Good morning, Cafe. Coffee is ready.
The mother feral cat at my mom's house keeps moving those kittens around quite randomly.
She had removed all of them the night before I tore half the deck off. I didn't expect to see her for a few days. She was back yesterday morning with 4 of the 6 kittens in tow looking for a free hand out. Well I guess not free this time. She left the back half of a dead rat for payment.
Sweet. Just what I've always wanted: a rat's ass! I never give them but yesterday I got one!

I found the outside nester. Extraction is going to be tricky.

overcast again here today, a bit sticky, but nothing by comparison with what a lot of you folk are enduring.

So you will be forcing Tack in, or is the site so tricky you'll leave her be?

My Eve has gone broody again, and she actually lays quite well early in the year before raising broods, so I'm letting her have one of her own, together with one each from Venka, Usk and Gigi. If they all hatch, all the layers will then have at least one offspring in the flock, which I think is nice.

Nah, it was a male. Females smell much less.
