Good evening Cafe.
One of the dogs here got bitten by a walkers dog. Got plenty of chlorhexedine in both puncture wounds but one needs stitching.
One of the donkeys has got problems with her hoof again. She gets a subcutaneous abscess which needs to be drained. Vet job.
Some wannabe off roader came down the busted track North out of here. There is a spot just off the property where the track is 'delicate'. They dropped a wheel over the edge and now the delicate bit is at the bottom of the gully.
I know because I could here the idiot trying to rev his way back onto the track. Of course all he did was push more track down the gully. Rule here for those who know is get someone to tow you out. Far less track damage gets done that way. Guiseppe went around with a small tractor and pulled him out in the end.

I don't do donkey medics Penny. I've been kicked once. That was enough. There is a good farm vet who will be here in the morning.

Oh okay I quit large animals out of Vet school too darn short for that crap

No excitement here, good or bad, rained overnight and this morning.
It was soothing(no winds), sure perked all the vegetation, now I'm gonna have to mow.
Junior birds seem to be doing well, still skittish, but no chaos...which is divine.

I hung the microwave today. And had nephew and his girlfriend paint closets.

We will meet in the morning to clear all the rooms that are getting carpet and do a dump run if it isn't raining.
And the shower drain install still beckons wanting to be done.

The rain just started again.
