BYC Café

Not me!! :plbb I have pared down my ice cream addiction quite a bit. No. 1 ice cream costs too much. No. 2 I am starting to get sick of it.

Never was a drinker. Don't like the taste. My sister told me I could order a "Grasshopper" and I'd love it. I said I would like it even better with no alcohol. Don't care for wine either.
Meanwhile I’ve been eating record amounts of ice cream this year 😂🤣

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready. A strong pot.
I've been up for a while. Can't sleep between thinking about what I'm going to be doing with the roof today and full body aches. So I started a small fire in the stove (it's 36F out), paid some bills and dragged out DHs heated massaging chair pad and I'm laying on it. It helps.

do you stretch after exertions?
The entire day was a stretching exercise!
Stretching to push up the sheet of plywood to the guy on the roof. Then repeated to get the plywood up to the second story.
Stretching to grab and place the next shingle.
Lots of lunging was done.
Lots of ladder climbing to get the 12 bundles of shingles up to the second story from the first.
Who the hell needs a gym??

A lot of people don't realize the amount of exercise that's done just by doing yard work, gardening, taking care of animals, or roofing, etc. It's the most natural form of exercise you can get vs going to a gym.

:gig not quite tho.
do you stretch after exertions? I find it helps a LOT, especially for the back.
Agrees...hot showers, your go to anti inflammatory and gentle stretching of tight muscles go a long way to reducing pain and further 'damage'.

This little guy is off to his new home. The lady that took Max took him too.

Epsom salts in a hot bath and some electrolytes to drink.
