It's hard to think of a dog you've cared for with their new name. The first min pin I fostered came to me with the name Twinkle. The lady that adopted her changed on to Ziva (the diva).

My yorkie named Twinkle is now BABY thanks to Mom.

Bright sunny morning here. Chilly overnight. Below 10C!
Not a big deal for those of you who are impersonating Eskimos, but for a sunshine chap like myself....
Half tempted to get the strimmer out and tidy up in front of the house. I'll see how I feel after coop cleaning.
I should get up on the roof of the sheep shed and cut off some branches from the walnut tree that are threatening to damage the roof. I'll see how that goes after collecting the remaining walnuts. I was a bit slow off the mark this year and the wild boar have had most of what's fallen.

Kenfig, my partially sighted pullet, just disturbed a ground wasp nest, and was trying to eat the things buzzing round her . There were quite a few on her; I don't know how well feathers protect from that sort of thing...or how chickens respond to wasp venom. I guess we'll find out in due course, unless anyone here already knows...?
