So, Roos don't breed when they are molting? I thought it was just the hens that stopped laying due to increased protein need for re-feathering.Good luck on the hatch then @CSolis I have 2 under one silkie but think I am going to candle real soon not sure as bad as red looks any are fertile
All of their energy is going into growing feathers!They could breed in molt but no fertility learned that as a kid
Remember my power went out for 12 hours when Laura passed by. 12 hours on day 15 and all but the one that was badly cracked hatched.. Have faith! Chicks are tough, remember?We lost power for 5 hours last night. I had to go get the chicks outdoors and put them in boxes in my bedroom. Also wrapped up the incubator. Hopefully the eggs will still hatch so the kids will see them.
