a death in the family last month
:hugs I'm so sorry for your loss; was it covid19 related?
And started working on the certification process to become a trainer
dog trainer sounds like a wonderful job; they used to show the Dog Whisperer on one of the tv channels here, and that guy was amazing! Had to deal with some real fruit cakes though 🤪

Nope no illness thankfully! Mostly just been crazy busy with dog sitting, coop projects, etc. I dug out an entire run recently cause it wasn’t drying out or draining (doesn’t get much sun). Like foot deep of heavy wet stuff. That was tiring and time consuming 😂🤣 better now though. And started working on the certification process to become a trainer so been studying for it by watching all the video courses I got before but never did, reading all my dog books, etc. and putting the applicable hours from my phone calendar onto the log. That’s been time consuming. There’s a lot of material. Hours and hours of video footage and many books to get through. We did also have a death in the family last month so had to go to PA for the funeral and service and everything and dealing with that. But I missed everyone here so decided to come back last night. ❤
That sounds great and I compliment you on getting into thorough studying and action, so rewarding! :yesss:

I am sorry you lost your relative. :hugs

Thank you!! Thankfully it wasn’t so didn’t go alone or in a hospital or anything like that but still stinks.

And yeah, I’ve always wanted to do it and have been walking and sitting for a little while but really want to get into the training side aha and yeah I’m a bit nervous about the people part 😂

I had a tree rat in the coop this morning and it was running around in the dust bath area of the run trying to get out. It sent the flock into a tizzy when it finally got out the pen door and ran for the fence.
I had noticed small wells in the nest box straw and at first thought a mouse had gotten in. It was the tree rat rooting around in there.
