Yes it was - really yummy! To answer @LaFleche 's question while on the subject, it was Chicken and Chorizo with paprika parmesan crumble. I haven't had a savory crumble before. It complemented the chickeny mix underneath nicely, and made a real change from a pie crust.Hopefully it will be incredibly delicious and worth the time!

Some things do take a long time!Good morning Cafe. Thanks for the coffee Tonya.
I am trying a recipe from a new book; it claims to be a 'quick' one. I started prepping it at 11, it went in the oven at 12.40 and it will be ready at 1... If that's 'quick' I guess the long and complex recipes in there will take a day or two![]()
It might be better to take the year off? COVID has messed up a lot of things in SportsGood morning and thanks for the coffee! CHSAA is having a zoom meeting tonight with all of the HS Athletic Directors and so I guess we wait for their proclamations. Word on the street is that there will be no State Tournament and if so, we will hit a lot of Nationals this season...I guess I had better git to selling more firewood!

Yes, and if the result is worth the trouble one is willing to repeat the experience over and over again. Some things do take a long time!
Yes, but sometimes (or is it more often) even the most devoted parents, undertaking all kinds of troubles and efforts do not succeed due to reasons beyond their sphere of influence.Oh, we can only wish all parents tried and were successful in raising and guiding their children!
Right...why I added "and succeed".Yes, but sometimes (or is it more often) even the most devoted parents, undertaking all kinds of troubles and efforts do not succeed due to reasons beyond their sphere of influence.
He's largely to blame. He, my brother, has had no meaningful contact with anyone in the family for over 25 years. He called my mom a couple days after dad died and talked with her for about 5 minutes and we haven't heard from him since. Why wouldn't he take responsibility for his creation?
