45 here now, but below freezing tomorrow night.

Good morning! Sunny, cold (single digits) but we are also supposed to be warming up to 50F by Saturday! Not sure about this...
At least my drives to, from, up, down, and very much all around will be snow-free.
Regionals are on Friday, down in Colorado Springs and they are allowing one spectator per kid. Good thing DH doesn't drive at night or we would be wrestling over the car keys!

Yes.
I started working as soon as I finished taking care of the flock this morning then called in our weekly Gigi's order for brunch. I'm thawing out now that we've finished eating.
It's not too cold out but when you are crawling around in snow and ice, it gets you sooner or later.
Yesterday, a trickle of ice cold water managed to drip directly into my ear canal. This isn't the type of weather I would chose to be working outside in.
The current awesome CEO is retiring. His last day is Friday. I have to close the permit by then. As long as my electrical inspector can get here before then, I'll have it done. Then I can just leave my old permit in the window and work in peace. It isn't like my A-hole neighbors can turn me in twice. They have no idea that the rest of the work I'll be doing is off permit. The current awesome CEO knows. He's the one who told me to do it! He feels his successor will be a real PITA. I don't need to deal with that.

OMG, that sounds painful!

Supposed to get near 50 today, then be 33 for a high tomorrow. Some sunshine next week, which will be very welcome. I smile a lot more on sunny days.

Three eggs today. That makes me smile even though it's cloudy.

Not really. Just highly annoying.

Current temp around 40°F, it will be that way all night and the south wind will be gusting from the south in the low 30s from 9 PM to 6 AM. Then the wind calms and clocks west then north west, the temp drops starting around 1 PM Monday. The gusts go back to 30 around 6 PM, then low to mid 40s all night starting to reduce around 9 AM Tuesday with a low below 0°F by 5 AM. High Wed just below freezing.

So March IS coming in like a lion!

Are you deaf or were you near death?! I have tinnitus in both ears and there is no way I could sleep through any of my boys crowing in the house.

Ear Plugs. 30 db reduction.
He's been very decent really. Doesn't start until 6.30 ish. I'm awake mor eor less by then anyway through force of habit.
