I think it was a broiler pen. It is open on the bottom and covered in chicken wire. I figured i would use as soon as the birds were big enough to be without the heatlamp during the day but still to small to be out freeranging (I have vicious farm cats, killed most my layers the first time i let them out) Once they reach adult size i will let them pasture. I built the floor yesterday. Now i need to figure out how to build the walls.

Most 'Farm' cats are killers or they would be hungry all the time.

Yes that is why the cats are still here i just need to learn from my mistake. If farm cats do not hunt they are rather useless. They ate welll that day :/

Miss thing 2 is healing nicely. The spot on her neck bruised a bit but no infection.
