The roads are a mess here right now. We're on the northern edge of @aart's thunderstorm. Heavy wet snow driven on, packed into ice. DH made it in to work ok; I'm glad I don't have to go anywhere.

The pullets came down the ramp to their first real snow in the run; it blew in from the north side where the tarp is only 3 feet high. I swear they clucked, "What the hell is all of this?"

Tonight is Una's night to go. I've been watching her for months now. She appears to be suffering the same fate her biological mother did. Some sort of reproductive issue. I think it's cancer but I don't know and don't care. It's time to give her relief.

Yes. Una was the only pullet from the very first hatch here. Her mother was a WLH.
