I went to bed about 8:30. I haven't stayed up for New Years since the millennia. It doesn't need my attention to happen.

But the 1999/2000 change was kind of cool, just to say I was there.

But the 1999/2000 change was kind of cool, just to say I was there.

That change from 1999 to 2000 was a major bit of work for me. I worked on a large company's database and nothing was created to account for a year that started with a '2'. We had to do a major overhaul of all the data and we started around 1997. What a headache!

At least I won't have to be concerned about the change from 2999 to 3000

Well, Happy New Year! I stayed up and we all stayed up and had sparkling grape juice to celebrate my hot shower and warm fire! Horse chores were a bit chilly this morning, I think it is 7 (Costanza, lol) anyway there is over a foot of snow and our roads have not been plowed and it is a good day to hang out! Enjoy the day, Cafe!

19° and 5" of densely packed snow.
Wonders if it's soft/slushy at ground level,
will find out once it's light out and I shovel the path to the coop.
Resigned but not happy about the start of snow moving season.
