I didn't have any trouble keeping it warm 3 years ago when we dipped down to -23F. I just fill the stove 3x a day instead twice and burn it hotter. I've never come close to over firing the stove.How in the world do you keep your house warm through all that with just a wood stove??

Our exterior walls are old brickwork with timber framing and they bite out the mortar or the wood to get in.They can't get in my walls.
