We have done some AI'ing, but this year was au naturale! I keep forgetting pictures...

I did think about getting one last night, but mama was a bit honky. Last I heard, we've got four new ones today. Pictures tonight!

Grandbabies first birthday is today Headed home soon to start on her cake. But no sugar for 30 days means I don't get to try the frosting 36 times to be sure it tastes right. Torture! Ha...ah well. 19 days to go.

Good thing you are on the no sugar diet, or else her cake might have turned out miniscule

How is Skittles today?

Excellent! He seems completely recovered from the HGE.
I never told the story about the Monday before he got sick. He tried to get up the doggie stairs to the bed in dim light, pre-dawn that morning and fell off the stairs. All I heard was the loud "thunk" of him hitting the floor followed by his bellowing. I shot out of bed and turned on the light to find him locked up, curled on the floor. I didn't know if he'd broken a leg or hit his head or what. He came around within a minute but I didn't want him in the bed so carried him to the couch and went to put Bella out and he jumped down to go with her. He was a little wobbly but otherwise seemed okay.
But looking at how he was walking when he was sick, I think he hurt his back. Just by the way he would walk up and down the deck stairs. He now seems fully recovered from that too.
I'm so relieved!
It's so stinking cold out that I think I'll bring the dogs when we go out for supplies later and we'll walk them around TS and PetSmart. Maybe take them to Lowe's just for the socialization and a few laps around the store. It would be a hoot to let Bella go and rip around the store!

My goats had their babies, 4 goat does , two had twins, two had triplets. One of the triplets was stillborn, and one passed a couple of days ago. So we ended up with 8 babies. View attachment 2961278View attachment 2961279
