I did know this but by the time I had paid for your air fare assuming you would be willing to come and help it would have turned out a very expensive hallway.Sorry you had a bad experience with the carpet, Shad. I laid carpet for a living for 32 years. I know it can be a headache. I've been retired from it for ten years and still have dreams about it.

Raining here today. In February (and now I realize it's no longer Feb. but March, lol)...and we're almost done with our lovely 50° weather. It got up to 62° at home yesterday! Apparently, the snow will be here Friday.
